Celebrate Barre Vermont this week. The Barre Heritage Festival will kick off this Wednesday, July 25th, and run through Sunday, July 29th, offering what is sure to be the highlight for many this summer. The 5 day celebration will focus on community, culture, history, and arts associated with the Barre VT area.

This week’s festival in Barre will start Wednesday with festivities that include an open studio at Studio Place Arts, a farmers market at City Hall Park, a reception for the Paletteers Art Show, and a concert in Currier Park, representing a few of the day’s highlights . Thursday will continue with a variety of sales, more art and a race at Thunder Road. Friday there will be more music and food vendors. Saturday the full festival will be in swing with numerous activities, a variety of entertainment, great food, and more. Sunday let there be no rest for the weary as the day starts off with a morning trail race.
